GCD Donate Intruder Alarm To Children's Charity
Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service successfully moved into its new offices in White Waltham, near Maidenhead, on September 12 after two busy days unpacking, cleaning and painting. CEO and Co-founder of the charity Fiona Devine said: “The move did not cost the charity any money – the removal service was free, volunteers helped us paint, the supplies were donated – even down to cleaning materials and the vital tea break refreshments.
The community support for our move was phenomenal and all involved could see
the benefits of moving nearer to the site of the children’s hospice. The reason for
the move is to be nearer to our site which will be so beneficial in our Capital Campaign to raise £5m to build a local childrens hospice, being close enough to show supporters how work is progressing is by far the most cost effective use of our resources in managing the build." |
